In My Heart

A poem for our wedding 20th of April 2024

I owe my heart to you, that’s the truth

you carry my heart in yours as I do yours in mine

you came into my life like a vision from the skies

bringing in beauty when times were dark

your smile chases away fears of doubt

you are my love story

you understand the solitude of my mind

and opened a wonderful place

which I never knew could be reclaimed

for whenever I am in your arms

I can just be still

and know I will always be your man

so be still, be still, my true love

dreams do come true

inside your arms, inside your heart, inside your love

be it at the ends of the earth

or just where you are

just to always feel your love

A poem for my love on her birthday – 27 December

in every leaf that trembles

as in every grain of sand

this fragile beauty brings balance

resonating a harmonious chord

spreading out as ripples

across the universe of our lives

may you always prosper and blossom

continuing to see beauty in every grain of sand

and flower that blooms

for this year and the next that will always follow

bringing a revived catalyst for growth

to my life, our love, and your life

Expectations

I’ve always had expectations

from the first time we met

realised our dreams

forged in conflict

on life’s anvil

the world keeps spinning

even when you let go

although my head is spinning

as it all slows down

the forge cools

my dreams keep recurring

I don’t want to wake up

to the possibility

of diminished expectations

and forgotten memories

…….

but still I linger

for the dreams to become

real expectations

A Glimmer of Hope

the house stands all alone on the hill

shuttered and drawn

I approach in darkness

all is locked, silent and dark

I seek some way in

but to no avail

no one answers my knocking

a sliver of light

at an upstairs window

a shadow beckons

is this the glimmer of hope

that will open the door?

I patiently wait

…..

For all those traveling at this time of the year, travel safely as you journey to friends and family … as for me I will be with my family for New Years 🙂

Now listen to the haunting gorgeous voice of Skylar Grey

All a ’Quiver

bend that bow

draw that string

pluck that apple

aim straight and true

no telling what may happen

as the apple balances

precariously on that head

lived vicariously

pierced deliciously

desirous of heaven’s gate?

pierced to the core

bitten off more

than one should swallow

all a quiver

as eden’s gate beckons

Allure of the Curve

where the neck meets the shoulder

the head slowly turns

creating

mysterious shadows and hollows

the extension of her leg

as she reaches

rising, pushing

grasping, holding

the swell of her breasts

as she slowly inhales

and then

oh, so exquisitely

exhales

the allure of the thigh

disappearing upwards

towards

that mons

aahhh the beauty

of it all ….

with those dangerous

alluring curves

Passionate Collisions

creeping relentlessly onward

with its hunger

yet to be sated

only tamed by the belief

of that seductive attraction

pulling opposites into orbit

closer and closer

until two worlds collide

exploding in a frenzy of passion

Shared Burdens

battered and bruised

shattered and drawn

fading away

into the gray

dragged down

those deepest depths

the fear is real

sleep escapes

only but a heartbeat away

from what

I don’t know

headlong crashing into life

fading away from the blue

hearts are breaking

I can feel it, can you

let me carry your sorrows

let me shed tears for you

and

take them when they come

Drowning in Lust

A poem written after being away from my love for 3 months, and am now finally heading home … 🙂

a trail of discarded clothes

leads to a pit of desire

primal urges released

tenderness and lust

a little bit of animal

is exposed

conflicting emotions

tender caresses

unleashing

sweat, tears, yearning

and savagery

bitten by love

drowning in our love

as I drink of you

sated yet still hungry

drenched in love

and lust

we sleep
