Lovers

lover cover me

during tough and rough times

better days await

I’m sure

lovers in their summer dresses

wind pressed fabric caressing the curves

sunlit backdrops to,

images of flesh through

silk and lace

some girl to thrill me

again, and again

and yes,

drive me crazy

with who knows what

when I look in your eyes

I’ll be dreaming

with eyes wide open

as the sun goes down

Absence Divides

clouds roll over the horizon

blanketing my mind

this dark gray heavy mass unfurled

creating an epitaph of confusion

despite all the love and protection

that enveloped us

absence drove a wedge

splitting your heart in twain

that twisted spear of absence

oh how I wish I could turn back

and lose myself in you

again ….

found my world in you

lost myself with you

now I am lost, alone

having lost my world

The Visitor

step over the portal

into the atrium

not the inner chamber

just visiting

it all seems so familiar

but it’s not

music’s playing

don’t know the playlist

coffee’s warm

but tastes different

just need to lay my head

where my hat lies

maybe next time

All a ’Quiver

bend that bow

draw that string

pluck that apple

aim straight and true

no telling what may happen

as the apple balances

precariously on that head

lived vicariously

pierced deliciously

desirous of heaven’s gate?

pierced to the core

bitten off more

than one should swallow

all a quiver

as eden’s gate beckons

Onward & Upward

This poem goes out to my buddy and dear friend, Victor  …thinking of you dude 🙂

the struggle against adversity

brings forth changes

dragging one

up or down

push upward

reaching for

higher levels of functioning

which did not previously exist

building resilience

absorbing damage

but not failing

bouncing back

Allure of the Curve

where the neck meets the shoulder

the head slowly turns

creating

mysterious shadows and hollows

the extension of her leg

as she reaches

rising, pushing

grasping, holding

the swell of her breasts

as she slowly inhales

and then

oh, so exquisitely

exhales

the allure of the thigh

disappearing upwards

towards

that mons

aahhh the beauty

of it all ….

with those dangerous

alluring curves

In Whose Name

it’s all gods will

I was made to do it

evil deeds as a “good man”

the hypocrisy of it all

god is good

as long as it’s my god

on whose side is god

the victor or the vanquished

the entitled or the underdog

whose god is on your side?

Shared Burdens

battered and bruised

shattered and drawn

fading away

into the gray

dragged down

those deepest depths

the fear is real

sleep escapes

only but a heartbeat away

from what

I don’t know

headlong crashing into life

fading away from the blue

hearts are breaking

I can feel it, can you

let me carry your sorrows

let me shed tears for you

and

take them when they come

The Omega Man

Knock, knock

who is it ….

come in....

wait, what!

Oh FU.......

Flames of Desire

Another lust-filled homecoming poem – dedicated to my love ♥

your ravenous desire

sucks the air from my lungs

oh, our reckless desire

we are burning up

turn the flames up higher

feel the heat, the beat

keep the fire burning

that moment when we meet

let me feel your desire

…..

tonight, my love

I will have you
